Dear Friends of Medical Missions Ministries,
In celebrating what God has been doing, I want to share a testimony from one of our U.S. team members who came to experience a date with Jesus in Guatemala: “I wanted to let you know that our group met after the service this past Sunday. It was amazing to hear the stories of how so many were spending more time with God praying and in His word. I hope this encourages you and your team that you have been such a blessing to us. Thank you for listening to God´s call on your life.”
After partnering with Jesus for 38 years, we are tempted to think we know what to do, but every clinic that we serve in is a unique experience that demands that we, as one body, hear God, trust and obey Him to see Him rejoice. We are so thankful with God that in His Mercy He shows up every time, as it says in Zephaniah 3:17 ESV: “The Lord your God is in your midst, a Mighty One who will save; He will rejoice over you with gladness; He will quiet you by His love; He will exult over you with loud singing.”
We saw God Almighty stretching His hands, saving and healing many every week is as if we were living Matthew 10:7-8 NKJV over and over, “And as you go, preach, saying, ‘The kingdom of heaven is at hand.’ Heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead, cast out demons. Freely you have received, freely give.”
It is my privilege to represent our whole staff to thank you for your love and support and to encourage you to continue to partner with us as we serve God and experience a revival in His Church so His people will rejoice in Him.
May God richly bless you and your families,

Dear Friends and Supporters,
Greetings in the precious name of Jesus! We are filled with gratitude as we reflect on all that God has done in Guatemala through Medical Missions Ministries, and we are excited to share this update with you. Today, through God’s faithfulness, we mobilize over 20 short-term U.S. teams annually, partnering with 11 churches and 1 school in Guatemala. These teams serve in medical clinics in over 100 churches that we have developed relationships with over the years. Our team staff of 13 have dedicated themselves to serving the U.S. Teams and the pastors and wives of these churches.
We are so thankful for the work being done in the harvest for the Kingdom because of your prayer and financial support. We are excited at MMM for the local church partnerships.
We deliver spiritual guidance and share the hope of the Gospel. Our ministry extends beyond clinics, touching lives through engaging with the local people, and serving these communities with love and compassion. Our annual Pastor’s Conference provides leadership development and helps teach, equip, and train pastors how to love their communities as Christ loves us and gave Himself for the world. Your support helps sustain clinics, community programs, nutrition efforts, and leadership training for our teams that come down on our short-term mission trips.
Our vision remains Mobilizing the Church to influence communities to experience the transformative love of Christ. We are planning and booking summer teams right now for 2026 and trusting God to continue raising up both Guatemalan and American leaders to move God’s plan forward in the ministry. A continued prayer focus includes wisdom to understand shifting needs, boldness to reach the lost, and spiritual renewal for both churches and communities. We are blessed to have so many of you praying and financially partnering with us. Please join us and consider leading a team, participating in our Pastor’s conference, or mobilizing others to experience God’s glory in Guatemala.
In closing, your love, prayers, and generosity are the lifeblood of this ministry. We’re humbled to serve alongside you in bringing healing, hope, and the Gospel to people that God brings to us each day. I am often reminded of this passage and hope that sharing it with you encourages you to step into what God is doing through you for the Kingdom.
Ephesians 4:11-13 (KJV) “And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers; for the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ: till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ.”
God Bless,

My miracle through Medical Missions
Before our plane even left the ground, God had shown us that this trip would be special. Previous teams talked about the incredible people at Medical Missions and the rich and deep teaching of Dr. Hermann Alb. Additionally, we were a team of surviving spouses – a group needing to know God is with them and has more for them.
The first day on the way to the clinic, one of our team members mentioned her weakened arm due to a previous stroke. Hermann reached over, put his hand on her, and said, “let’s pray.” When we finished, she began to move her arm with full rotation of her shoulder. It was a miracle! I was in the back seat and had been suffering with a condition that attacks the nerves around my rib cage. It was very painful, and unfortunately the injections I was taking to help wore off right before our trip. I was using pain pills to get through the day, but they weren’t working well. So, I piped up and said, “I can’t see that and not ask for my own healing!”
Of course, Hermann sprang into action. He and the team prayed for me three times, but there was no relief from the pain. To say the least, I was very discouraged. Later that night, one of the widows came to my room and courageously shared, “When we were praying for you in the car, I sensed some doubt.” I asked from who. She said, from me.
I was so confused. I know God can heal. I just saw it! Still I took it before the Lord and asked Him to help me with any underlying disbelief. The Holy Spirit reminded me of the story of Peter. He had enough faith to get out of the boat, to start walking towards Jesus, but then in a moment… I think my moment of unbelief was in believing perhaps that God’s healing was for others and not me.
I went the rest of the week in pain until the day we were leaving. Hermann came to our house and prayed over our team. We then prayed over him, his family, the MMM team and ministry. When Hermann stood up, I said, “Hermann, I’m not leaving Guatemala without my healing.” He said, “sit down.” Everyone prayed over me. I told everyone that I had just taken a pain pill so I wouldn’t be able to share any change in pain in the moment. That was March 22, 2025. To this day, I have not had any pain, nor taken any medication. I AM HEALED!
Every person on our team had a true God experience that has marked them for life! In addition to my healing, Hermann’s message for us to accept God’s invitation to “come up” to the supernatural has forever changed my perspective, unlocking the power and purpose God has for me in this next season. I am forever grateful for Medical Missions Ministries: the work they do in the clinics, the love they show the teams, and the persistent encouragement to have an unforgettable “date with Jesus!”

The Gift of Giving
As we come to the close of this year, our hearts are full of gratitude for your partnership in the gospel. Because of your prayers and generosity, 21 mission teams, 5 families, 6 students, and 10 church groups traveled to Guatemala this year to learn, serve, grow in sharing their faith, and bring it back to the United States. Our staff of 13 has worked faithfully to host, train, and walk alongside these teams, and we celebrate that the ministry continues to operate completely debt-free. Together we were able to serve 4,721 patients and saw 127 people receive Jesus as their savior. To keep this mission strong, we are praying for friends like you to stand with us in several key areas:
- Continue building a reserve fund to purchase the director’s family home, which has long served as a hub for ministry life.
- Maintain our fleet of vehicles to safely transport teams and staff throughout Guatemala.
- Manage the care of the facility so our campus remains a welcoming, hospitable, and comfortable space for all who come to serve and learn.
Would you prayerfully consider a special year-end gift? Your generosity helps ensure that this ministry remains strong for years to come. For example:
- $100 provides fuel for a week of ministry travel.
- $500 supplies medicines to bring to the clinics.
- $1,000 helps build the reserve fund for long-term stability Every gift makes a difference and is tax deductible.
Every gift helps multiply the message of Christ, impacts the world, and expands the kingdom. Please join us in making a difference. Thank you for being part of this mission. Together, we are equipping believers to share their faith and encouraging others to consider Christ. What a privilege it is to partner with you in sharing the gospel! Please continue to pray for growth in our village church partnerships, expansion in our giving partner base, for the health and safety of the MMM staff, and for a continued legacy of stewardship and vision as we move forward.
With deep gratitude,
David Pritchard on behalf of the Board of Directors and the MMM staff

Hola Amigos!
Working on the newsletter is a joy! It reminds me of God’s incredible work in Guatemala. We’re so blessed to share the amazing stories of people experiencing Jesus and being transformed forever. Every trip is a chance to live out Proverbs 16:20 and feel the joy of trusting God. Each team member, interpreter, or staff who prays and encourages others also receives encouragement themselves. Please pray with us for God’s guidance and provision in our mission to inspire churches to reach out their communities. We’re excited to invite new teams and churches to join us. If you want to be part of this journey, reach out to set up a team!
Blessings,
