Hello, Dear Friend,
Greetings and blessings to each of you in your family. We are joyful to testify that 2024, our 37th year of ministry, has been another year where we have seen the glory of God and heard His voice. Many Americans have come to Guatemala for “A Date with Jesus” to experience His Love and to return home sharing His Love through evangelism and their testimony. God is faithful! As He speaks of in Deuteronomy 7:9, He has kept His covenant and mercy for a thousand generations with those who love Him and keep His commandments. We see this in so many ways as He has cared for the generations in our family here in Guatemala and in America.
We have been greatly blessed to see families, both Guatemalans and Americans, loving God and serving Him through these 37 years of ministry. God has given boldness to different ages to witness and pray for miracles, and it has given us the opportunity to be blessed exceedingly above what we can ask or imagine, with miracles of salvations and many others.
We have been blessed to serve this year with2 dentists and 4 to 6 doctors in every clinic.
In light of some challenges with our vehicles, we have been inspired by God to pray for the provision of newer and more reliable suburbans.
We are also praying for wisdom and understanding, since after the pandemic, the number of patients coming to the clinics has decreased. Please join us in praying for wisdom, discernment and understanding, to hear from God if we are facing a spirit of fear in the communities or discouragement in local church to reach out their communities. Considering the lack of interest in the local church to reach out to the lost, we know we need to pray for more workers in the field because the harvest is plenty, but the workers are few.
We are also praying for former team members to rise up as new team leaders in their churches, so their American churches can send more teams. Our hearts’ desire is that more families will experience the power of their testimony and prayers as they demonstrate the Holy Spirit and His power.
We pray that both Americans and Guatemalans will have boldness to fill Guatemala and the USA with the Glory of God. We believe that 2025 will be another year where our families will serve together so none will be lost. Jeremiah 32:27 says “Behold, Ia m the Lord, the God of all flesh. Is there anything too hard for Me?”As God said, no man can be saved on His own, but what is impossible for man, is possible for God.
Pray with us that we can hear God and receive the faith to believe that He is faithful to do what He has said. We want to be more and more like Jesus who loves us unconditionally.
Medical Missions Ministries was born in the heart of God and was designed by Him to work with American teams to make disciples that keep the flame burning in the USA when they return home. We encourage them to model their lives after Jesus and become a witness of His miraculous Love.
We pray that you may feel the desire to come and invite both your family and friends, so we can experience His faithfulness and His filling the Earth with the glory of God as the waters cover the sea.
We keep you in our prayers and thank you for your prayers and financial support.
Sincerely, with all our love and gratitude,
Hermann and Linda Alb and the Medical Missions Ministries family.
Dear Partners,
Once again, I am overwhelmed with God’s provisions and work in the ministry. Thank you for your faithfulness in supporting and partnering with us to connect people to the heart of God. This year has been a year of restoration in our teams coming down. We are fully booked for the summer of 2025, and God has been providing new doctors and team members to help in the work we are doing in Medical Missions Ministries. The LORD gave me this verse in Psalms 119:105 which says, “Thy Word is a lamp unto our feet and a Light un too ur path. “I am so thankful for what God is continuing to do in the transformation of His
people in Guatemala and here in the United States.
Through this verse the LORD shows me that the lamp illuminates the day -to-day steps that God has for us and the light illuminates the path of our vision He has shown us for the future of the ministry. We are grateful for His WORD, and we are grateful that it speaks to us and directs our paths. Please continue to join us as we pray and want to be faithful in hearing God and obeying His purpose for the ministry.
Your faithfulness in “Mobilizing the church to influence communities to experience the transformative love of Christ” continues to grow His Kingdom. May His light illuminate your days and your visions that God has for you. Thank you for partnering with us in God’s plan. God Bless,
David Womack

Testimony by Autumn
Guatemala and MMM hold a very special place in my heart. When I was 12 years old, my dad signed me up for my first mission trip. I was not excited. As a middle schooler, you care about friends and yourself and because I had no friends signed up for the trip, I was not looking forward to it. But not having much of a choice, I began fundraising and attended the pre-trip meetings.
God was faithful to provide in so many ways leading up to the trip which blew my mind. I saw the exact amount I needed come in, and I was amazed that people cared enough about what we were doing to help me go. The first day in Guatemala was a lot to take in. I’d never experienced a culture so different from how I grew up. As we headed in to our first day of ministry, I knew exactly where I wanted to serve -kids ministry! Actually, this was my plan for the entire trip. I planned to just volunteer in the kids’ area; kids are fun, and kids are easy. But then came Day Two of ministry and our team leader said we needed to serve in a different place than the day before. This meant what I had feared the whole time, being in a counseling station, was going to happen. I was terrified. There’s no way I was going to be able to share the gospel. I had practiced with the gospel cubes we were given in our team meetings. I some what knew the Romans Road, but I didn’t want to awkwardly share it with some one. Thoughts that went through my head were”what if they reject me,””what if we have nothing in common to talk about,””how do I even begin this conversation,” “I don’t want to pray out loud.” Deep in my heart, I wondered if I even believed this whole Jesus thing for myself.
I worked with an adult leader from my team and a translator, and the first few people came. I watched and said very little. But thenI started to see people around me praying for healing and getting excited over people receiving Jesus. I remember the first person who came to our station that didn’t know the Lord. I was encouraged to share the gospel and so I stumbled my way through it. Then they actually said “yes” to receiving the gospel. I was shocked and also in awe that what I was sharing was truly so valuable and really was Good News.
As the week continued, my faith and boldness increased. I prayed for healing and confidently shared the good news. I saw some one rolled in in a wheelchair and walkout of the clinic. I saw a deaf person hear again and a blind person regain their sight. The way l’ve explained it when sharing my testimony with others is that I saw the God of the Bible, the stories I had read and heard of, come to life. I couldn’t unsee what I had seen that week so in the livingroom of the compound, I surrendered it all to Him.
That was my first mission trip to Guatemala. I had the opportunity to go three more times as a student. Fast forward to this year, 2024 , and I was able to return as a youth leader leading a team of students the same age I had been 13 years earlier. All I can say is, what a gift from the Lord it was to watch others experience the same place, ministry, and date with Jesus that changed my life and brought me to where I am today. I saw students that I care about encounter Jesus, share Him boldly with those in the villages, pray for one another and come back home changed. Looking back over these 13 years, I can say my life would look drastically different if it wasn’t for that first experience with MMM. I’m so grateful and so honored for these experiences, for these “Dates with Jesus,” for Hermann’s obedience, and the faithfulness of every doctor, translator and person on staff at MMM. The work they do is truly for the Kingdom, and God is getting all the glory.

The Gift of Giving
There are several biblical reasons to be generous toward God’s work, Medical Missions Ministries (MMM) specifically. Their mission is to teach and equip American teams in evangelism, develop His disciples, grow their faith to reach many, and to train and support Guatemala pastors.
Through the Great Commission (Matthew 28:18-20) Jesus commanded His followers to “go and make disciples of all nations.” Financially supporting evangelism at MMM aligns with fulfilling this command by spreading the Gospel to people in a different cultural and geographical context. Generosity toward MMM is a way of participating in the global mission to share the Good News.
He also calls us to support God’s Work (Philippians 4:15-19). Paul commends the Philippian church for their financial support of his ministry, saying that their generosity is a “fragrant offering, an acceptable sacrifice, pleasing to God.” By supporting MMM, you are directly involved in God’s work, showing obedience and trust in His mission.
Paul encourages believers to give generously and cheerfully, knowing that God loves a cheerful giver. The promise of reaping a harvest for giving is not just financial but also spiritual. Supporting MMM allows for sowing seeds of the Gospel which can yield eternal rewards in the lives of those who come to know Christ. For those who have supported MMM over the years, we sincerely thank you!
We invite you to partner with us as we close in on the year end and begin to announce our 2025plans. By contributing, you are helping to spread the Gospel, love your neighbors, and act as God’s hands and feet in the world. Our year end prayers and request for donor support include a $125,000 need in giving between now and the end of 2024 to meet our donor giving projections. These funds will help MMM purchase a late model four wheel drive Suburban and possibly a van.
In addition, MMM continues meet our balanced operating budget and to add to the “house fund.” MMM is 100% debt free. Gifts can be made to the QR code or by mail. An envelope is enclosed. We cherish your generosity and prayer cover always!
Thank You,

Hola!
It’s great to be able and look back and see how many lives God has influenced, how many people He has healed, and the amazing experiences we were able to live while on mission with Him. As seen in the cover photo and other photos and graphics throughout the newsletter, we want to remember and glorify Him for His faithfulness. This year we had 24 teams and visited 95 communities. We had 330 team members and 47 interpreters. Together we were able to see well over 5,000 patients. We had 80 pastors in our pastors’ conference and out those, 65 were with their wives.
Every year when it gets time to prepare the annual newsletter, I always enjoy seeing what God did throughout that year, but I also get excited to see what the next year will look like. We already have 22 teams booked for next year, and we are praying that God will inspire new leaders to build teams. We pray God will bring the people He wants to experience Him in Guatemala. We believe that through serving the Guatemalans, God transforms the lives of the team members. We also believe that working with other ministries can help us grow, so this year some of us will be visiting Paraguay and doing Missions together with Alberto and Nidia.
Please keep us in your prayers that God will show us how we can improve in serving Him and those that we are called to serve. We desire that He will always help us to inspire the churches in the communities to be light and that He will provide for us to bless everyone that comes through MMM, both patients and team members. If you desire t o set u p a team for 2025 or to have us come visit your church, please email me.
